Analog Design Lab合同会社が有するギャラリーARTnSHELTER（東京都品川区東大井1-19-10）は2020年1月30日から2020年2月3日までテス・マーティンによる展示会『タンジブル アニメーション』を開催します。
テス・マーティンはハンドメイドアニメーションを扱う映像作家です。彼女は今現在、アーテンシェルターが企画しているレジデンスプログラムに参加しています。自身の制作及び、クライアントからの委託も受け、オランダ、ロッテルダムを拠点に活動しています。紙を切り抜きつくられたGINERVA、俳優の写真で構成されたTHE LOST MARINERやMARIO(ガラスにペンキを乗せたアニメーション)、THE WHALE STORY(巨大な壁面を利用したアニメーション)など、彼女が手がけるストップモーションフィルムや今回特別にお見せする新作を鑑賞しに、また彼女の話を聴きに是非ともお越しください。彼女は今現在、最新作となる『CACHETTE』の脚本と絵コンテを手掛け、自身の制作プロセスについてお話しを伺う事ができます。
2月3日までアーテンシェルター・ギャラリースペースにて作品が上映され、カフェスペースではテス・マーティン本人から話を聞く事ができます。

Tangible Animation by Tess Martin will be held in ARTnSHELTER from 2020/01/20 until 2020/02/03.
Tess Martin is a filmmaker who specializes in hand-made animation, and she is currently artist-in-residence at ArtnShelter. She is based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and makes her own artistic work as well as commissions for clients. Come hear her talk about her work and watch some of her stop-motion films including THE WHALE STORY (animated on a giant wall), MARIO (animated with paint on glass), THE LOST MARINER (made with photos of actors), GINEVRA (made with paper cut-outs), and some very special recent work. She is currently working on a script and storyboard for her new film, CACHETTE, and she will also give an insight into her working process.
The films will then be on display in the ArtnShelter gallery until Feb 3, during which time Tess will be available to chat in our cafe.
